In the end we are always on our own. So why should I lean on somebody else? It's easier if I stand strong now for what's coming ahead. But I am standing on my own and looking out for myself. I know that I try to give the best of my heart to the people I love the most, but I can't help but to wonder if they devote a single thought about me in return. If they realize my true nature. I am not saying that I'm an angel but there are limits on how much a heart can take. And mine is on the edge. Therefore from this moment on, the only one who is getting the best of my heart uncritically is me. I'm looking out for myself and no-one else, because the human man is a selfish person that only thinks about themselves.
